Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of EnergyHubCo at energyhubco.com (the “Service”), operated by EnergyHubCo (“we”, “us”). By using the Service or creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised.
• Don't impersonate others or choose a username that's misleading or offensive.
• You can delete your account at any time (user menu → Account → Delete my account).

2. Your content

• You keep ownership of the images, models, datasets, files, descriptions and posts you share (“your content”).
• By sharing content you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, distribute and process it (including automated safety review) as needed to operate and promote the Service. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept briefly in backups or logs.
• Content you publish is public. Other users may view and download it, and use it under the license you select for it (for example Apache-2.0 or CC BY 4.0). Choose that license carefully.
• You must have all the rights needed to share your content and to license it as you choose. If you upload third-party material (for example photos, pretrained models or datasets), follow its license, including attribution and non-commercial or share-alike terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload or post content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or contains other people's personal data without permission;
• post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or spam and unrelated advertising;
• share content intended to cause harm, including instructions for attacking or sabotaging energy infrastructure, or malware (including deliberately malicious model files);
• interfere with the Service: probing or breaking its security, overloading it, scraping it at a disruptive rate, or getting around rate limits, moderation or access controls;
• use the Service to break any law or regulation.

Content is checked automatically before publishing, and we may remove content or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

4. Models, datasets and downloads

• Models and datasets are provided by their uploaders. We don't review them for accuracy, safety or fitness for any purpose. Check each item's card and license before using it.
• Pickle-format model files (.pt, .pth, .bin, .ckpt, .pkl) can run code when loaded. Only load files from sources you trust; prefer .safetensors.
• Don't rely on models or data from the Service for safety-critical decisions (for example grid operation or equipment safety) without your own independent validation.

5. AI answers

Search answers are generated by AI and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They aren't professional, engineering, financial or legal advice. Verify important information independently.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@energyhubco.com with the link to the content, a description of your work, your contact details, and a statement that you're the rights holder (or authorized to act for them). We'll review the request and remove infringing content.

7. Our service

• The EnergyHubCo name, logo and site design belong to us. Content shared by users belongs to them.
• We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and may set limits on storage, uploads or usage.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that content will be accurate or kept available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service or of content obtained through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you share or from your breach of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll post a notice on the site. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
